ERX2779937: Illumina HiSeq 2000 paired end sequencing
1 ILLUMINA (Illumina HiSeq 2000) run: 28.2M spots, 5.6G bases, 3.6Gb downloads

Design: Paired-end
Submitted by: INRA UMR 1319
Study: Yarrowia lipolytica H222 draft genome
show Abstracthide Abstract
The genome of Yarrowia lipolytica strain H222 has been sequenced using Illumina Solexa HiSeq2000 technology with a paired-end library (275X, average insert of 400 bp.) and a mate-pair library (47X, average insert of 8 kb.). The raw reads were trimmed with Trimmomatic and cutadapt. The assembly was done using SOAPdenovo2 with a kmer of 77.The current draft genome sequence is composed of 17 scaffolds larger than 5 kb (all nuclear), for a total size of the nuclear DNA of 20,519,037 bp with an N50 of 3.9 Mb (3 scaffolds).Annotation of protein-coding genes was performed using RATT, with Yarrowia lipolytica genome as reference. Other genetic elements (tRNA and transposable elements) were expertly added.
Sample: Yarrowia lipolytica strain H222
